MicroGram was established in Hong Kong in 1981. The Company specialized in importing computer parts from the USA and Japan, and representing agencies for the reputable brands such as Apple II, IBM, Epson and Super 5.

In 1983, the company had grown to six retail shops in Hong Kong's main computer and business centres. The expansion was due to a successful marketing strategy, and the continuing demand of computers from customers such as the Hong Kong Government, Cable & Wireless, Cathay Pacific Airways and Universities along with other major business entities and corporations.

In 1986, after many years of solid experience. The company accumulated expertise and capital to invest in a manufacturing plant in Hong Kong. The plant was set up to manufacture mother board, add-on cards and other computer hardware peripherals under the MG Products brand. These computer products were supplied to local and overseas markets. In a very short period of time MG Products had gained the confidence of overseas customers due to reliability, quality and punctual deliveries. Along with its fast and aggressive growth MG Products maintained its quality and stability and its reputation grew quickly by word of mouth.

In 1990 after 10 years in business, MicroGram took a step further to promote its products by exhibiting in the international computer exhibitions. Through the Hong Kong Trade Development Council exhibitions such as CeBIT in Germany, Comdex in USA and Australia Computer Expo' in Sydney and Melbourne were attended. MG Products are now distributed to every corner of the world.

To meet expansion and the demands from the customers in United States, the company acquired 15,000 sq ft office / warehouse space in Los Angeles in 1992. This was the first subsidiary company established overseas.

In 1994, the company established another subsidiary company in Sydney-Australia. Later branches in Bangkok-Thailand and China were established. The company also diversified into investments in Hong Kong, USA and Australia. The MicroGram Group of Companies is now a Multi Million dollar company.
